Anthropologie's AG Hailey Ex-Boyfriend Roll-Ups, $188.

Anthropologie’s AG Hailey Ex-Boyfriend Roll-Ups, $188. Don’t get me started on the price.

When it comes to “my style” I pretty much live for Anthropologie…with a couple of gingham oxfords thrown in.  My first Anthro experience was in Boston, back in 1999. I was there on a commercial shoot and opted to stay in town an extra day to take in a little sight seeing. I still own the red pants I bought that day. I loved them so much that I wore them out of the store. Needless to say I’ve been a fan of Anthro’s, “It’s just an old French thing from the back of the closet” attitude ever since. I was actually reliving old times in the Boston store just three weeks ago. We were on a family trip- they thought I was lost at a street fair but I was actually trying on Maxi dresses.

When shopping at Anthro, I try to keep an 80/20 rule…

(Hang with me here. There are actually photos of me in my cut-offs after the jump. If nothing else it’ll be good for a laugh.)

After 7 years of anniversary posts on all of the various blogs I’ve started and eventually neglected, I think everyone has heard the story of our wedding and seen our amazing pictures from Paul and Michelle Johnson (still the best pics I’ve ever seen) and learned every reason why a wedding planner working for one of the top wedding planning companies in Colorado opted to eloped to the beach instead of slimming down for her favorite Vera Wang to orchestrate an incredible mountain bash with live bluegrass, festival lights, signature cocktails and a succulent pig roasting on a spit with a shiny red apple in its mouth… I might be vegetarian but I still believe Southern hospitality is a must if the goal is to host a monumental celebration. So I’m sparing you the lovey dovey talk and simply posting a few links along with a photo collection that still says it all.

Still having a blast! Thanks for asking sweetie!

Our fabulous condo in Inman Park – love this place!

Once again Chris and I are offering a way for you to buy coolness at the extremely low rate of $1100/month. This place is so hip Scoutmob called to see if they could offer it as a Featured Deal.  I know I know, you’re thinking “Isn’t this the place you were renting back in April? What happened to the one year lease and the ultra-cool guy who got it before anyone else could even take a look?” Well, because the apartment is SOOOO fabulous he actually landed a girl AND a higher paying job… unfortunately both are out of state.

So here’s the Craigslist ad along with the photos (a little crummy due to Andriod technology). It will be avail starting Sept 1st (potentially Aug 18th). If you’re interested in taking a look give Chris a call on his cell  (404-354-1205), he’s planning to start showing it this weekend.

Jane Seymour, A Passion For Justice

Jane Seymour + the word "Passion"? Who in their right mind could resist watching???

During yesterday’s hike on Sanitas I enjoyed a long chuckle thinking about the first movie I ever worked on…because getting lost in thought is the only way I can make myself keep running. It was called “A Passion for Justice, The Hazel Brannon Story” starring Jane Seymour and directed by her husband James Keach (the one wearing S&M in Police Academy 4).  I was 19, about to start my Junior year as a Journalism Major at UGA, and chomping at the bit to get on a movie set…even if it required hand washing Jane Seymour’s bras every night at 2 am.
