Just discovered the CougarLife.com commercials and I have to confess they’re my new favorite, awesomely terrible, thing. And considering the amount of time I spent working with World Championship Wrestling that’s saying a lot. Now I’m not knocking 45 year old women prowlin’ for young meat (have at it ladies!) but I am calling out a marketing campaign that’s selling sexual empowerment with the image of a short bald guy wiping the sweat of desire off of his brow with a whole wheat sandwich. PS, the other three don’t count because we all know that young straight guys never look like that.
Watch and enjoy… but don’t fall for it you Cougars.

Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend… especially my sexy Cougars!

Meet Zippy,
Zippy and I became friends back in 2010 when he wandered into the garden with a note on his collar that said “Zippy! I Wander! Please return me to my home”. He was a kitten so I abandoned common sense and actually carried (more like fought) little guy around the block and back to his own front yard. Just as I got to his mailbox he jumped out of my arms, ran around to the back of the house and completely disappeared. I figured he was back in familiar territory so I turned and started my walk back home. Needless to say, after taking a good 20 min away from my chores to deliver him back to his home, I was less then delighted to find him back in my yard, waiting for me return from his.

Unlike sane people, Chris and I have a crazy love for little burros. We believe the world’s problems are being solved behind those blank stares and if there were only a way for us to tap into their thoughts humanity would finally find the keys to peace and brotherly love. I’m serious, we LOVE donkeys, we take photos of donkeys, we purchase artwork with donkeys in it, we even have dreams for a little burro on our own little farm! YEA DONKEYS!!!!
Two weeks ago I read an advertisement for “Haulin’ Ass”…

Posted in Atlanta or Boulder?, Beautiful Things, Weddings
Picking up from my last post…
I keep fussing that “I came back to Boulder” because I really needed to be in Atlanta the first few weeks of April. After many months of working through bylaws and HUD hoops, Chris and I were able to wrangle the real estate deal OF THE CENTURY and pick up a two bedroom unit on the top floor of our condo association. We were very sorry to see a neighbor and friend lose his home due to difficult times but after watching this little property sit on the HUD market for almost a year (along with being on the HOA board and dealing with the stresses caused by unpaid dues in such a small association), I am very pleased that Chris and I were able to not only purchase the unit for ourselves but we were happy to be able to bring some resolution to the stresses our little community was feeling from this “distressed property”.
Wedding photos are after the jump so keep reading!
